Lakes Challenge already work very successfully with the public sector, for example the Olympic Delivery Authority, English Partnerships and the Homes and Communities Agency.
To all area of the Public Sector, we offer the same range of training and events as to the private sector. These can be summarised as:
TEAM AND RELATIONSHIP BUILDING EVENTS
Increasingly, structures within organisations are changing, and new teams and groups are being formed. To be successful, these changes have to be introduced with an eye to ensuring that the new and changed teams have opportunities to develop and build. One of the best ways of delivering this is by external team or relationship building events. Time spent together away from the workplace on a Lakes Challenge event is valuable, and leads to better understanding, better performance, improved interpersonal relationships and better teams.
MANAGEMENT TRAINING
Effective managers are essential. Our courses and events are specifically aimed at Junior and Middle Level Managers, and are tailored to each organisation/department's needs. They cover topics such as building and maintaining teams, managing tasks effectively, managing time and successful communication. Attendance on these courses will lead to more mature, confident and able managers, alongside improvements in staff performance and morale.
LEADERSHIP TRAINING
Future and existing leaders will benefit from Leadership Courses with Lakes Challenge. We aim to inspire people to take on the challenge of leadership in a positive and enthusiastic way. FUN
It seems like there's not much room for fun these days as department's belts are tightened ever more, but it's important that your employees should have fun together sometimes.
