Lakes Challenge supply Team Building, Leadership Training and Management Training to Universities, Colleges and Schools. Some of these services are specifically for students, some for staff, and some for both parties.
LEADERSHIP TRAINING
Leadership Training courses for staff:- Helping University, College and School staff to lead more effectively at work.
Leadership Training for students:- Students on management courses of all types will benefit from leadership training, as will students on courses hoping to move quickly into supervisory roles.
MANAGEMENT TRAINING
For staff and students, offering training in specific areas of management - for example Managing Tasks, Working in, Developing and Maintaining Teams, Time Management.
TEAM & RELATIONSHIP BUILDING
Once again, aimed at both staff and students. These events are perfect for bringing students together at the start of their course and can make a real difference. For staff also, in challenging times, a little time spent away from the workplace building relations is time well spent.

FIELD STUDIES
Lakes Challenge staff such as ex-National Park Ranger John White offer walks,talks and tuition based around topics associated with the Lake District, for example, Geography and Geology, Farming and Local Industry, Tourism, Wildlife and Guided Mountain Walks. We can provide the expert local knowledge to back up your own expertise.
