LAKE DISTRICT PHOTOGRAPHY COURSES
If your group wants to do something more creative and less physical in the outdoors, then a Lake District Photography course could be the answer.
Lakes Challenge are fortunate to be able to call upon the services of well known Lake District outdoor photo journalist Bill Birkett, and leading mountain sports photographer Dave Willis, to run Photgraphy sessions and courses.
Bill has written many books including The Complete Lakeland Fells, A Year in the Life of Langdale, Scafell - Portrait of a Mountain etc, while Dave's photos have appeared on the front cover of a wide array of outdoor magazines. Dave has also founded the National Association of Sport and Outdoor Photographers.
You need to allow one or two days ideally for this course. The instructors are experts in the use of Digital Cameras, and they will be able to help you to get the best out of yours. (A certain amount of equipment is available for loan if you don't have your own camera).
Dave and Bill know some wonderful locations for photography, and they will show you how to take great photos, and make the most of your camera and your creative talent.
Photos are normally downloaded onto a laptop at the end of the day, and Dave or Bill will select a winning shot, with the winner receiving a signed copy of one of Bill's books.
