 | | | | | | | If you're looking for an adventurous group activity with a difference - look no further than Via Ferrata. These protected scrambles and climbs were first developed in WW1 as a way of safely moving troops around the tricky mountain terrain of the Dolomites. Since then, their use has become recreational, and many new Via Ferrata have been built over the years with the aim of providing safe scrambling routes on rock faces and ridges which would normally only be accessible to experienced climbers.
You don't need any previous experience to have a go at Via Ferrata - a head for heights and a sense of adventure is all that's required. Using special shock absorbing lanyards supplied by us, you remain clipped to the cable at all times during the climb - therefore providing the maximum degree of security.
There are routes of all standards - the easiest being little more than exposed walks, whilst the hardest are strenuous and exposed. In between are many brilliant routes offering good levels of safety, great fun, stunning views and the feeling of having achieved something really special.

 | | | | | Though Via Ferrata are available in many areas of the Alps, we specialise in the original home of the Via Ferrata - the Dolomites. We operate from 2 centres - Colfosco in the main Dolomites for the summer period, and Arco at the head of Lake Garda - ideal for spring and autumn. Both areas can be visited for a long weekend - you tell us how long you have and we will devise an itinerary.
Via Ferrata offer excitement, a good workout, a unique big mountain feel for non-climbers and some of the finest scenery in the world. | | | | | |
