Canoeing on Cumbria's lakes and rivers is a popular activity in it's own right, as well as being an integral part of the Lake District Ultimate Challenge.
We're fortunate to have access to a number of high quality venues across the area including Ullswater and Windermere. |  |  | Our canoeing is generally performed in Canadian type canoes rather than single seat kayaks, though this can be arranged. Canadian Canoeing requires co-ordination and co-operation between the passengers to steer and propel the boat efficiently. We use qualified and experienced instructors to make sure that you have the best possible start. | One of the great delights of canoeing is being able to see the area from a totally different perspecive out on the water. The views are very different and you can see wildlife which is normally just a distant speck.
