We offer mountain biking as an activity in it's own right, or as part of the Ultimate Challenge event. It's great fun, and those low gears make short work of steeper hills. |

| The Lake District has some fine mountain biking routes, ranging from the prepared North Face trail in Grizedale Forest, to the high level mountain ride along the High Street ridge, to the many low level tracks and lanes which can be linked to give easier routes. | Our Mountain Bikes are high quality machines which come with essential accessories, the most important one being either a qualified Mountain Bike Guide to accompany your group, or for self-sufficient outings, a mountain bike mechanic at the end of a phone who can be summoned to provide whatever help and assistance is required. Half and full day sessions are available. |  |
