A survival challenge makes a great day for a group activity, and consists of a number of different challenges built into the day. This challenge works really well in groups of 4-6, who can compete against each other in each part of the event as well as in the final head to head challenge. |

| Our Survival Challenge normally takes place in the extensive parkland and woodland of Dalemain House, on the edge of the Lake District near Penrith. This is a really excellent location where we have the woodland to ourselves (apart from the pheasants and other wildlife), and the fells of the Ullswater area form a wonderful backdrop. | The challenge itself consists of a number of separate challenges which could include: - Shelter Build - Fire and cooking - Hunting skills - Make a bow and arrows - Fishing - Orienteering - Improvised rescue |
|
| When a number of teams are taking part, each activity is scored, and a final challenge takes place where some of the skills and tools already learned and constructed have to be used in a showdown against the other teams.
You'll get dirty, have some fun and learn some skills you hope you'll never have to use! |
